You can absolutely have it! I know because I’m an engineer, and I’ve found a variety of ways to adapt my career so that I can bring my whole self to work and enjoy Monday as much as Friday.
When you work with me, you can expect to:
- Clarify what you want
- Discover deep and meaningful motivation to move toward your desired future
- Overcome limiting beliefs that tell you that you can’t have/do/be what you want
- Identify opportunities that make the most of your gifts and skills
- Develop a well-defined plan for you to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be
- Be held accountable for the commitments you make
About Coaching: The International Coach Federation defines coaching as “partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” Very simply,
my role is to help you get what you want, including living authentically. How We Work Together: I provide coaching over the phone, in a series of 45 minute sessions. In each session, we will be focused on a topic that will bring you closer to your goals. I will request that you complete specific “homework” between our sessions to keep your learning and action moving forward, and we will review that work during our next call.
The Engineer’s Coaching Package:
- 6 months of one-on-one telephone coaching (eighteen 45 minute sessions)
- Online progress tracking
- Reading materials
- Exercises and homework to complete between coaching sessions
- Email and phone contact as needed between sessions
About Me: I majored in chemical engineering at Kansas State University and graduated summa cum laude in May 2001. I’ve worked at The Dow Chemical Company as a polyethylene production engineer, as a product consultant and technical trainer for a Monte Carlo simulation software company (Crystal Ball), as a continuous improvement manager for United Airlines, and, now, I’m an entrepreneur. I am a registered professional engineer (PE) in the state of Colorado, a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), and a certified Six Sigma black belt. In addition to coaching, I provide process improvement and data analysis and simulation consulting. I enjoy playing softball, running, reading, traveling, gardening, eating, watching movies and football, and spending time with my friends and family.
